By accessing this website we assume you accept these terms and conditions. Do not continue to use Cake Loft if you do not agree to take all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.
The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Statement and Disclaimer Notice and all Agreements: "Client", "You" and "Your" refers to you, the person log on this website and compliant to the Company’s terms and conditions. "The Company", "Ourselves", "We", "Our" and "Us", refers to our Company. "Party", "Parties", or "Us", refers to both the Client and ourselves. All terms refer to the offer, acceptance and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the Client in the most appropriate manner for the express purpose of meeting the Client’s needs in respect of provision of the Company’s stated services, in accordance with and subject to, prevailing law of Netherlands. Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalization and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same.

Allergens
Customer MUST indicate / select the appropriate option regarding allergen(s) when making an order. Unless otherwise properly requested by the costumer and stated/labeled on each product, pursuant to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency guidelines, products made by Cake Loft Corporation may contain, including traces of, or have been in contact with:

Ingredients of animal origin
Some of these ingredients are considered by Health Canada as priority allergens. Do not consume if allergic to these ingredients.
DO NOT consume products that are not properly labeled. Immediately contact Cake Loft Corporation at (647) 417-4825 or info@cakeloft.ca when in doubt about product safety or labeling of allergen free.
Products Allergen Free
Cake Loft Corporation makes allergen free products. These products are made in the same facilities as other products, but undergo a strict procedure to prevent cross contamination. We also ensure the substitutes and ingredients used are safe for consumers with an allergy or sensitivity to a specific allergen or combination thereof.

We check food labels/ingredient lists for all products used in the making process, especially those manufactured off-site.

We check food labels for allergens listed by other names (e.g. “casein” instead of milk, “tempeh” instead of soy).

We only use labelled ingredients and products.

We check with suppliers when products are reformulated or changed to verify new recipes won't introduce an allergen.
Allergenic Ingredient Substitute
Allergen: Gluten
Substitute: Rice, chickpea, almond, coconut, corn, quinoa, soy, tapioca, yucca, peas, and chestnuts.
Allergen: Sugar
Substitute: Stevia, tagatose, allulose, sucralose, saccharin, aspartame, honey, agave, and maple syrup. These products are considered "without added sugar."
Allergen: Lactose
Substitute: Lactose-free products which contain dairy (casein). Allergic to casein? Please see below: "Allergen: Milk Protein."
Allergen: Milk Protein
Substitute: Vegetable products that include rice, coconut, almond and soy. Allergic to soy? Please see below: "Allergen: Soy."
Allergen: Soy
Substitute: Products without soy, which may contain ingredients of vegetable origin, sunflower seeds, rice, almonds, and tree nut.
Allergen: Egg
Substitute: Products without egg, which may contain flaxseeds, apples, and in-house recipes that do not require eggs or any replacement.
Others: Gelatin, Alcohol, and any other ingredient the customer cannot consumer MUST be notified to Cake Loft immediately during the checkout process in the comments section. If the customer does not inform Cake Loft, the product is likely to contain or have been in contact with gelatin, alcohol, and other ingredients that the customer may not wish to consume due to allergies, sensitivity, or religious reasons.
Refund, Cancellation & Exchange Policy
Cake Loft does not issue refunds or provide exchanges for baked goods, including cakes, cupcakes, cheesecakes, etc., unless otherwise stated.
Once the customer has gain physical custody of the product, the product is deemed accepted by the customer. Baked goods require proper handling and storage in refrigerated spaces with no humidity. Damages can happen if not handled properly. Cake Loft is no longer responsible for the conditions of the product once it has been accepted by the customer. Customer is responsible for properly carrying, transporting, and storing the baked goods upon pick up or delivery.
All Claims for refund, exchange, or store credit due to quality, flavour, or health related issues will require the customer to present to Cake Loft the product in question for proper investigation. Customer will be made aware of the investigation outcome.
Cancellation. Customers can cancel an order for a store credit 72 hours in advance to the order delivery date. Any order cancelled by the customer within 72 hours will result in forfeiture of the funds paid to Cake Loft for this order. This means that a customer who scheduled an order for June 10, can cancel the order on or before June 7 to receive a store credit for the amount paid for this particular order. In case the customer cancels the order on June 8 or 9, the customer will not be offered a store credit.
Date Modification. Customers can request to have their order delivery date modified 72 hours in advance to the order's original delivery date however, Cake Loft does not guarantee this request will be approved. We are limited to a specific number of orders that can be accepted per day. If the proposed new date is full on our agenda, we will be unable to approve the modification request even if it is received 72 hours in advance. Customers cannot request a date that is unavailable. Unavailable dates include dates in which the store is closed, including holidays. In case a customer request cannot be approved, the order will be ready for pick up or delivery on the original date scheduled by the customer. For delivery orders, the product(s) will be delivered on the original date.
Modifications within 72 hours. All requests for modifications within 72 hours fall outside our order modification policy therefore, we cannot approve these modifications. Customer will remain responsible for picking up or accepting delivery of the product on the date originally scheduled.
Delivery. Customer or a person authorized by the customer must be present to receive the order. Customer will be called 3 times in an attempt to notifify the customer that the delivery personnel is on site at the address provided by the customer. If the customer cannot be reached after these 3 call attempts or is reached but takes longer than 10 minutes to meet the delivery personnel and accept the order, the delivery personnel will depart from the delivery address with the order. For customer's safety, orders cannot be delivered to third parties unauthorized by the customer or left in any public area. Customer will be responsible for arranging re-delivery of the order. A re-delivery fee may apply.
Attempts to Defame or Defraud. Cake Loft takes allegations regarding quality and flavour seriously. Any attempt to obtain monetary benefits from Cake Loft through misrepresentations and fraud can result in legal actions as permitted by civil and penal code.
This Agreement shall begin on the date hereof.
Parts of this website offer an opportunity for users to post and exchange opinions and information in certain areas of the website. Cake Loft does not filter, edit, publish or review Comments prior to their presence on the website. Comments do not reflect the views and opinions of Cake Loft,its agents and/or affiliates. Comments reflect the views and opinions of the person who post their views and opinions. To the extent permitted by applicable laws, Cake Loft shall not be liable for the Comments or for any liability, damages or expenses caused and/or suffered as a result of any use of and/or posting of and/or appearance of the Comments on this website.
